Cal. 32-40. S# 13046. Matching numbered half oct., half rnd. 26" bbl. Blade front sight, elevator rear sight & sliding mid-rang vernier tang sight. Walnut buttstock w/ crescent buttplate. CONDITION: good fading blue with streaks of brown patina shows muzzle wear, peppery oxidation & marks. Case colors visible in protected areas with balance mixed with brown patina. Wood has good worn finish with sm. gouges & scratches. Bore shows pitting & fouling on lands with wear to edges. PROVENANCE: Estate of Groves Herrick. (26-1007/MD). CURIO. $500-700.
